It has been a smart move. For Android fans that were looking for a 7-inch tablet would have a real hard time in looking for something better than Google Nexus 7. The tablet offers a fantastic combination of 7 inch form factor and quad-core Tegra 3 processor with a RAM of 1GB. It is light, thin and portable. The tablet comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, solid build quality and a highly appealing design.  Comfort, speed, graphics, and most importantly the price gain the highest points.
 Exterior
Google Nexus 7 has a size of 198.5mm wide x 120mm x 0.45mm thick and weighs around 340g. It has a screen of 7” 1280×800 HD display, scratch resistant corning glass, and
back-lit IPS display and 1.2MP front facing camera. It’s hard to comprehend how small this tablet is until you hold it. Being extremely petite, the screen is 20mm at the top and bottom and 14mm on all sides.  The pockmarked back makes it quite nice and firm to hold. The back of the tablet is devoid of camera. The screen-touch response has been highly improved and stands better than the previous Android versions. The tab has a TFT touch-screen with active matrix.
This Google’s product is perfectly sized for e-book readers and of course for players of Android games. This tab from Google was designed keeping the gaming thing in mind. Users can tap over 600,000 games and apps available on Google Play. The dimensions are very similar to those of a paperback book.  The IPS screen (LED back-lit) has 1,280 by 800 pixels resolution (216 pixel/inch ppi). Images are clear and sharp. The tablet has a gorilla glass front and an easy-to-grip, soft-touch, stippled back. The silver metal frame joins the back and the front. This Google’s tablet might be made of glass and plastic but it surely does not look cheap.
